By accessing or using the Live Ingest API and related services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Services

Live Ingest provides an event delivery platform that enables customers to publish, route, and consume events via REST APIs and WebSocket connections. The Services include the API, dashboard, documentation, and related tools.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to: (a) transmit malicious code or interfere with the integrity of the Services; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks; (c) exceed rate limits or circumvent usage restrictions; (d) use the Services for any unlawful purpose.

5. API Usage and Rate Limits

Your use of the API is subject to the rate limits and usage quotas associated with your subscription plan. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend access if usage significantly exceeds plan limits or degrades service for other customers.

6. Data and Privacy

Event data transmitted through the Services is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all data you transmit through the Services. We process your data solely to provide the Services and do not sell customer data to third parties.

7. Service Level

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. Current service status is available at the status page.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Live Ingest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Services.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Services will cease and we will delete your data within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
